CEREMONIAL CACAO
Ceremonial cacao is so much more than a warm drink. Rooted in ancient tradition, cacao has been shared in ceremony for generations - as a way to slow down, connect and come a little closer to the heart.
Rich, grounding and naturally nourishing, it can become a beautiful part of your morning, meditation, journaling practice or ceremony. A little ritual for creating space to listen inward, set an intention and simply be.
We offer two ceremonial cacaos from Luna Cacao, Mother Earth and Father Sky, both in 200g or 500g bags. Feel into which one is calling you.
FATHER SKY
From the Napo province of the Ecuadorian Amazon, Father Sky is made from the rare Arriba Nacional cacao and lovingly cared for by 13 Kichwa families working to preserve this ancestral cacao variety.Smooth and creamy with a beautiful aroma and low bitterness. Father Sky carries a lighter, expansive energy - made for moments of connection, intuition and opening the heart.
MOTHER EARTH
From the shores of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala, Mother Earth is carefully made by Nana Marina and her Mayan family, with deep respect for the land and the traditions surrounding cacao.Earthy and slightly bitter in taste, with a deeply grounding character. Mother Earth is one to reach for when you want to land in your body, quiet the noise and create space to listen inward.
THE GOLDEN CHILD
Can’t choose? Meet The Golden Child.Mix equal parts Mother Earth and Father Sky to bring their two characters together - grounding and expansion, earth and sky. A beautiful choice when you want a little bit of both.
OUR CACAO
It’s an honour for us to offer cacao from Luna Cacao, a mother and daughter founded company in Dalarna with a deep respect for cacao, its origins and the people behind it.The cacao is grown without pesticides in its natural environment and the entire production takes place in its country of origin. The cacao farmers own the process and set their prices based on availability and market value, supporting both livelihoods and the continuation of their traditions.
